I have a B.S. degree in Environmental Studies from the University of Alabama and a Master of Public Administration degree in Urban Planning & Policy Analysis from UAB, where I am currently in the Interdisciplinary Engineering Ph.D. program.

I am married to Beverly Cox of Hoover. We live in Helena, AL (near Birmingham) with our "fuzzy children" Henry (the Cocker Spaniel) and cats Nutmeg, Josie, and Mollie.
